1. About VetAmi

VetAmi is a digital pet health passport application that allows pet owners to record, manage, and share their pets' vaccination records, and allows veterinary clinics to verify those records digitally.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to manage the pets and records you add to the app.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password with anyone. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

VetAmi reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that are used fraudulently.

4. Vaccine Records and Medical Disclaimer

Specifically:

• VetAmi does not provide veterinary advice or medical recommendations
• A "verified" status means the linked clinic has confirmed the record — it does not constitute an official veterinary certificate for regulatory purposes unless stated by the clinic
• Always consult a qualified veterinarian for medical decisions about your pet
• VetAmi is not liable for any medical outcome resulting from reliance on records stored in the app

5. Clinic Responsibilities

Clinics registered on VetAmi agree to:

• Only verify vaccine records that they have genuinely administered or have verified through their own records
• Not verify records they know to be false or inaccurate
• Maintain accurate clinic profile information
• Use client data accessed through VetAmi only for legitimate veterinary purposes

VetAmi reserves the right to remove any clinic found to be verifying fraudulent records.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload false, misleading, or fabricated vaccine records
• Upload content that is offensive, illegal, or violates anyone's rights
• Attempt to access other users' data without authorisation
• Reverse engineer, copy, or distribute any part of the VetAmi app or codebase
• Use the app for any commercial purpose without our written consent
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from VetAmi

7. Uploaded Content

By uploading photos or data to VetAmi, you grant us a limited licence to store and display that content within the app for the purpose of providing the service. You retain ownership of your data.

We do not claim ownership of your pet's health records. You can request deletion of all your data at any time by contacting vetami.noreply@gmail.com.

8. Service Availability

VetAmi is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the app or its features. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.

During our launch phase, the service is free. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future with reasonable advance notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VetAmi and its team are not liable for:

• Loss of data due to technical failure
• Medical outcomes based on records stored in the app
• Actions taken by clinics or other users on the platform
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of VetAmi after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from use of VetAmi will be subject to the jurisdiction of Pakistani courts.
